Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

In text on the forums, I've noticed that in some instances, lower-case i's and l's appear to be kerned badly when inside a word, with the letter in question appearing closer to the letter on its left than the one on its right.

The easiest demonstration of this is the message above your reply window. Notice in the second sentence, all the letters in "While" appear exactly the same distance away from each other, however, in "Halo", the "l" is closer to the "a" than to the "o".

I have no doubt that these problems will be rectified in the future site update, but until then enjoy.

In the disclaimer message in the reply window including the word "Halo" and everywhere else on BNet there is about 2 pixels of spacing between the characters. There is no kerning problem, if anything your browser is displaying the characters badly due to some bad scripting or perhaps even as simple as your monitors screen resolution giving you the illusion of extra spacing.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

While strict kerning and letting are the forefront of our design rules, you can't always presume that browsers will understand what that means. The font choices present their own kerning problems naturally. Depending on the browser of choice, and even OS, kerning and font rendering can change drastically.

To summarize, building for the "web standard" sometimes prevents perfect design.

None of the spacing is so far off to be an actually annoyance to me.

Chief vs the scarab? I find that hard to believe to roundhouse boot the scarab's figurative emotion out of the gaming zone.

I don't see this on my end at all. Maybe it's some sort of magic from my Mac.

I would comment on how much you suck for quoting a sarcastic joke sarcastically to seem like you're in on it, but you probably already figured it out.

Scum.

Who the hell do you think I am?

It doesn't seem to be much of an issue for me, but even if it was, it's a silly thing to worry over.
