I've just finished making a Minecraft map in Halo: Reach, and since no one has thought of this (or talked about it, anyway...), that I might as well have made it, and asked you guys for your opinion.
The map is an infection map, where humans spawn on a cliffside with grenades. The humans go around the map using the grenades to flip over crates that have random goodies hidden inside of then to replace their crappy plasma pistol. The large area offers many chances for good weapons (rockets, splasers, etc..) and there is even a secret spot for the humans to get even better weapons.
However, they must do all of this "mining" while the sun goes down, and when night-time appears that is where the zombies come in. The humans switch roles from mining to hiding as the zombies track them down and infect them.
There are multiple levels to the map, with you staying aboveground if you wait for a building to appear, OR you can go into H-E-Double hockeystick, acessed by a teleporter, and with lethal lava lining the floor. It's also incredibly dark during nighttime, making a good place for the zombies to attack.
I will post the map to my file share, and i want you guys to try it out and tell me what you think of it. If you want to change it in ANY way, please list me as creator.
And don't go hating until you've found the shrine, secret spot, killer campfire, and other secrets.
