Reach introduced a lot of new mechanics to which some players had difficulty adjusting, so they dismissed the game as a whole. In my opinion, Reach has its glitches and balance issues, but it is an outstanding game overall. The audio/visual feedback is unparalleled in the series, and the way it works with the basic gun and melee mechanics make it hard to go back to a game like 3. I also loved the increased focus on the pistol in the weapon sandbox, and the focus on single-shot precision weapons.
That is the thing. Talk to the people who have adapted and they even dislike the game. Some of the top 5% in the entire game just play it for many other reasons. So if I play 7,000 games should I not be given the right to complain about how it took a year to make multiplayer playable. I honestly wondered if Bungie ever even tested the multiplayer.
if you have 7,000 games and are still complaining you should find something else to do with your time
Oh, a life check, you're so -blam!- clever and correct, obviously.
lol
i'm just wondering why so many people log thousands upon thousands of matches in a game they claim to hate.
Simple, most if not 90% of my buddies play the game. So I play it. I'm what you call an "older style gamer" I like to beat things 100% (getting to the last rank) sorta deal. If there is something wrong with that, too bad I guess.
