In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Sapphire is well structured but at times I feel it's too strict and if I say the wrong thing I'll get removed in a heartbeat. This is one of the side effects of a large group

FT is very active but the quality of posts has gone down over time. I do prefer smaller groups because it allows you to interact with more of the same people regularly and get to know them.

But I think the specialty 'fanbase' groups are better because everyone comes together under one common interest, thus putting their differences aside.

I think a lot of groups have died a bit since Bungie let go of Halo. I think once more people come back, the website will grow very much and old groups may come back and new groups will rise.

Right now some groups have become obsolete like ones dedicated to getting recon or filesharing.

oh god this thread

This thread is going more civil than I thought it would. Some people get really mad about this group or that group but it is mostly jokes.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

It happens like this all the time. The boring times between games. It weeds out the weak. And turns some of us into grade A dicks.

Page 2 of this thread. lol.

OT: Most active is probably Sapphire, Cafe or TWP from my experience. I have a bunch of other groups that I'm involved with but those always have constant new threads.
