So as I watched the first halo 4 trailer again, and reading "Ghost of Onyx," I started to think to myself "...hm, how bad ass would that be if master chief was falling into Onyx and met up with the other Spartan II's that were stuck in there (unless in another book they got out, which would then make this tread worthless)"

So I just want to see if anyone else has ever thought of that(being that no other book says they got out) or think its cool.

Why would Master Chief fall into me? I'm detecting vast amounts of UNSC on my exterior and on my interior.

The Shield World Spartan-117 is in the gravitational field of is known by Forerunners as Requiem.

It's known by forerunners as Requiem (as stated by Onyx81, not sure of the validity of it but I'll go with it for the moment), what we call the planet (or the shield world inside of it) is what we have decided to call it.

Now since Glasslands, the shield world inside of Onyx has been opened, now whether or not that is the shield world or planet that chief heads towards at the end of Halo 3, is something we can only speculate about.

The planet formerly known as Onyx is dead.

Onyx was the name also given to the Shield World by the Forerunners. The Didact in Halo 3's Terminals refers to the planet as 'the Onyx Project'.

I still cannot believe people think that the Legendary Planet is Onyx (now Trevelyan)... I'd have thought that after 5 years people would have read the final Terminalin Halo 3, apparently not.

We should know better, because we are better.

Requiem is also built differently than Onyx. It is a planet enclosed by a massive shell rather than a hollow sphere with land on the inside.

Ok, im sorry i have not read all the books and all the Halo terminals. There is a reason as to why I put "unless in another book they got out, which would then make this tread worthless," but in which book (or terminal) did it say they were rescued? I was quit sad when they got "stuck."

I also was not aware that the shield world MC was falling into was already named.
