I think, this being the Bunige.net Community forum, that the data could be inaccurate to use for the rest of the forum.

If you're referring to the Flood, I absolutely agree.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

From the 52 posts with an age and join date, it's clear that if you joined in 2008, it's highly likely that you're aged between 16 and 20 and if your join date is 2007, your age is between 17 and 21.

There's only a slight suggestion of correlation.
Here's a tacky graph I produced, straight from my phone; graph.

Rev.6-8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

08 for me, on this account, on the older account it-if memory serves me correctly-was shortly after Halo 2 shipped. And I'm an old man, old enough to be your daddy for some of you.

This has been my case. It's easy to post "no" and move on without doing the slightest bit of research. Hell, I didn't even know there was a correlation until I started doing the math.

But, looking at the numbers, it's a plain as day. No matter how small.

#1 Legendary ODST Firefight Highscore

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

This seems pretty accurate. Theres probably a correlation between join date and first Bungie game aswell, but I'm not sure.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I kind of want to see how this all adds up from the data we submitted for the Beta tester sign-up.

That actually sounds very likely.

There's an average difference of 5 years of age between a member who joined in 2004 vs a member who joined in 2012

I am...whimsical today.

If someone's pointed this out already then I apologise, but I'm not checking through 7 pages :)

As you're looking at current age vs join date, you're going to be including a trivial correlation between the two. Older accounts holders are necessarily at least as old as their accounts.

To take this bias out of the picture you should perhaps be comparing join date with age of user at join date.

Anyway: Join year 2004, current age 22, age when joined 14.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Generally, yes there's a correlation between account age and real age. The correlation coefficient is about -1.2, meaning that for every year of account age, the user is about 1.2 years older.

Nice idea for a research project, though. /hire

How could you possibly get this information?
