I'm in this group and this mod keeps locking threads. And the leader can't ban him because he doesn't know who keeps locking the threads. So I thought maybe to fix this problem we could add the feature where it shows which member locked which thread.

What do you think?

You should send a message to the group leader.

This is something you should discuss in the group. lol
When will you be back? rofl

It's not my fault he keeps on locking my threads and denying it.

Not when you lock, edit, or delete threads.

I honestly would like a feature were I could find out the moderation history of my group, but on the public forums it would be a disaster.

Reason is that the moderator who locked it, would get spammed with hate mail and angry messages.

Sounds like you need to evaluate who you're choosing for mods.

But, a simple addition to group history that showed who was locking threads would definitely not hurt!

Members would not see it only admin and other mods

No, I like it better if we do it for only admin.

Private groups should be able to be run however the group leader wants to run them. If they want to share that information in their group, then they are more than welcome to, but it should not be required.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

Admin should take away all mod powers till further notice.

Then your idea would not work out... if they were to do it only people with the security role would be able to view recent moderations...

Yeah they should give an option. But. lets not get ahead of ourselves first we'd have to get it so we can see who locked which thread. And then add an option

Positive vibes.

I agree that they should show who locked what, or who deleted what in the 'Group History Viewer'. Several things should be added to that list.

  • 04.17.2012 8:08 AM PDT

Just for the Group History Viewer so the admin can make a proper observation.

  • 04.17.2012 8:13 AM PDT

Per Audacia Ad Astra

Surely the required information would be in the administrator's group history viewer?

'Just had a look at the group history, the thread I locked didn't show up in the group history viewer. That's something private groups could do with having, so admins can see if their moderators are up to no good.
