Only after we ban Bricypoo.

(You Might want to save this thread for future reference to see if someone is joking)

Alright so, I have noticed that some people have a hard time telling when certain people are being serious or joking. So I am here to provide information on how to tell when people are joking on here.

We will start of talking about one jokester named Skibur (After him we will have a couple other members too. If you would like a user to be added to this list feel free to post about it. Then, I will try to put them on there. Anyways, here is the explanation of a couple different users humor.

User: Skibur

General Information: Is known for joking around and being obsessed with mythic members

Break Down: If you look at his "Meet Our Demands Or Face A Mass Mythic Suicide" thread there are multiple clues that he is joking

1. It was made on April 1st

2. It is about Mythic members having more authority than other members. Since this is a common joke thrown around Bungie.net it is pretty easy to see.

3. The Thread was created by Skibur

Rap Up: If Skibur is posting there is a 99.99999% chance he is joking

User: TrueUnderdog

General Information: Not much of a jokester really, he is almost always serious.

Break Down: If you look at his posts you can tell he is always serious. He isn't one for joking around so you should have no problem with him.

Rap Up: Don't worry about him he is always serious

User: Bricypoo

General Information:Bricypoo has a large variety of different types of jokes that he likes to use. But he almost always provides small clues in his posts so you can tell when he is joking.

Break Down: In his thread We should be able to block people because of their titles... He gives a lot of clues to tell that the thread is a joke. If you look at the address of the photo he provides it says "iwanttolookcool.jpg", this is a sign it is joking. Also in the search bar it says "I like pie so now what?" a random not very serious statement, another clue. Then you break down what he is saying he talks about how legendary members receive "thousands of messages" because of their rank. Does that sound legit? No, which shows he is probably joking.

Rap up: Bricypoo is rarely serious, if he makes a post about users Stealth Sniper or Phoenix1710 you can just about guarentee he is joking.

User: Primo84

COMING SOON!

So yep, that is it for now... I will be adding more people on to this list as time goes on but for now this is all I can take to do. ALso, if you didn't notice I made some joke sin this thread for you to test your skills to see if you can find them.

Wait... What? That wasn't what this was about at all actually. I was specifically trying to provide information to help people learn how to tell when members are being serious or not. How is this a popularity contest?

You're highlighting specific members. Ones who you believe are popular enough to warrant a "case study". If you were to try to perform this thread and include members on a fair scale, it simply wouldn't be feasible.

It's not a big deal I guess, but it's still completely based on popularity and highlights individual members.

Also, this thread is silly. Everyone's always serious on the internet.

At first I would have thought a thread like this was never needed. But after seeing a bunch of users not being able to tell when people are joking, I decided this would be useful.

You say that like you have a ton of users listed, but wouldn't you say that you were personally motivated? You only posted a few users' descriptions, and most of them are filled with your own jokes.

Your description details how your humor wasn't understood in a thread you made. Is that not the core of the issue? I don't see much else of motivational substance. What was the motivation behind trying to breed the idea into a Top Forum Topic and gain personal recognition?

Partially, I Thought of my thread which made me remember threads by likem Primo and Skibur. My original plan was to fill them both out as much as mine if not more but I was getting tired of writing. (I mean I have to track down posts and links exc.) I figured if I just posted it now I could just edit it later. I didn't realize that everyone would immediately take this in a "someones trying to be noticed" or "oh look popularity contest.

If I had known I would not have posted this, people can be kind of ridiculous sometimes.

EDIT: Anyways, lets get back on topic.
