Alright at the end of Halo 2 he took over High C AND has cortana

cortana knows were earth is

The flood are prob hungry after being locked up for so long that's why they attack High C so with the ships and phamtoms Etc that they have now why woulden't they fly to earth I think that ther flood will attack earth

Anyone share my idea?

it would be stupid if the flood didnt attack earth... with cortana now on their sides, they will now know so much information. the first move will be made by gravemind...

I am...whimsical today.

It goes against the Cole Protocol, but is that just in the Books? I seem to remember something about it right at the start of Halo.

I took the liberty of fixing your post so people don't get to confused.

That is a good theory by the way.

Yeah they did mention the Cole Protocol in Halo CE, it's also in the manual too.

But I don't think the Protocol was meant to apply to anything except the Covenant. It was made so the Covenant never found Earth. Humans had no idea about the Flood at the time so that wouldn't apply to them.

But it seems logical that the Flood is heading to Earth, where else would they go?
Unless they plan to go to the other rings and release all the other Flood.

To me it would seem that the Cole protocol applies ESPECIALY to the Flood, they are the more dangerous life form. Which means that Cortanta has either been forced by Gravemind to divulge the info (which could be difficult, as Cortana could wipe it from her memory) or Cortana is a willing participant, or at least going along with Gravemind.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

this one caught my eye. i think cortana isn't being forced to do anything. i think either she has gone rampant, not very origional idea i know, or i think she is doing it of her own volition. cortana is not like any other UNSC AI. she has more of a "free will" about her. i think either she is doing it to start something interesting, or she is playing gravemind, which is more likely.
