Well? There's a lot of stuff wrong and we need to figure out what is the worst part.

Song for the scrub BKs that couldn't be good at Halo 3 so they enjoy Reach.

Song for the ladies in the place with style and grace.

Iv been a pretty hardcore Halo fan ever since Halo CE was released. Iv played every single Halo game thats been made, and have read most of the books. Iv enjoyed every Halo game to date, and every game has met my standards for what a game should be. Reach might not be the best Halo game, but its not terrible by a longshot.

So, ya keep complaining.

And just to make it clear I prefer Halo 3 over Reach.

That is truly one riveting tale, chap, but the amount of books that you have read and the time that you've spent doesn't justify anything; playing little league baseball throughout your childhood doesn't put you on par with anyone associated with MLB and doesn't give you the knowledge of how big-league concepts should work nor does it give you the right/authority to mandate those concepts.

"So ya", keep on trying to defend casual concepts in a competitive game with "derr, competitive people just like to complain" because you've turned a blind eye to how it detrimentally impacts competitive gameplay; see how seriously the players with at least a few braincells take you.

LOL, like a guy who doesn't even have a 1.5 in MLG can talk about competitive gameplay. You didn't even get higher than a 45 in Halo 3. You wouldn't know competitive gameplay if it 4-shot you to death, which apparently happened a lot considering your 1.09 ranked K/D in Halo 3.

I like how you infer that I dont like competitive players. I consider myself am a fairly competitive player but unlike you Iv come to realize that Reach is not competitive. I dont play Reach for competitive play I play it to mess around and relax. If I want to play competitivly I go play 3.

And while your analogy was cute, it does not represent the Halo situation at all. By your analysis experience doesnt equal anything and only radical views are excepted. So keep complaining on how bad Reach is and Ill keep playing it because I enjoy it.

Have you even played Reach in the past month? Or do you just like to b.itch and moan on the forum for the game you hate? Almost a year and a half and you felt like you should bring up points from when the game came out? Please for the sake of acual
Halo fans, please dont buy Halo 4. I dont want to hear you whine all day and night.

d'awwww someone's angwy...

I didn't infer that you hate competitive players; I inferred that you hate competitive players that actually voice their opinions towards a terrible aspect rather than go "derpdy derpdy quit complaining using valid points because........because...its annoying" and watch a terrible aspect continue like everyone else.

And my analogy works perfectly fine. It was pretty much you saying, "the competitive players in this forum, aka the 1% onyx, top-level MLG players, etc... should just shut up because I read all of the Halo books, thus my opinion holds the same weight." Lol, was that supposed to give you the least bit of credibility in a topic on competitive gameplay? Because it didn't...

You call what you have done experience and those radical views are made by non-credible sources? Your logic is pretty much why casuals are harassed as much as they are; they play pants-on-head retarded games all of their life, have never played a single competitive match of Halo in their life, yet feel like they are just as valid when talking about competitive gameplay as anyone who constantly plays top-tier competitive games. There are popular trends, the people that express "radical views" tend to be decent -> good at the game; the other people are not; seems like a funny trend, doesn't it? The people that are good tend to experience every mechanic at its most complicated level have valid reasons to complain about those particular mechanics and everyone else that plays derp-style all day have no clue what they are talking about.

I love your logic though: stop complaining...just because. No sense in presenting valid points in hope of changing the series that you love, because thats just silly; just deal with it, adapt to derp-gameplay. So if Halo 4 evolved to 1-shot kills in all gametypes and a nuke goes off 3 times every game, killing all players for no reason, I'll definitely listen to your wise logic and just deal with such a stupid idea.

Also, I love how your definition of an actual Halo fan is a sheep that just throws their money at a franchise and possesses no ability to form their own opinion.

Arbitor they outnumber us three to one!
Then it is an even fight.

Arbitor > Arbiter.
Arbitor = Rank above Arbiter.

A big thanks to kids that did this to 343 after they heard they get an infection game mode in halo 4 with no thought of normal playlists.

I guess I should hide behind my unlinked GT instead...

Yeah, my stats in H3 are complete crap, I won't deny that. It was my first online game ever, and I learned everything about Halo on that profile. It would be an unbelievably significant difference if I started again, but I didn't think my virtual e-peen in only one game was worth another $7 a month, sorry.

I didn't even know how the ranking system worked until I was like a 35 with a ton of EXP because I learned EXP boosting with some generals, thinking ranks gained through EXP pre-general was good.

I spent no effort in MLG outside customs on both Reach and H3 because I feel that it is a waste of my effort playing without the proper tools: primarily, a reliable team, which practically no one on my active friends list can make. I still understand how competitive gameplay works and have experienced it myself, even though my H3 stats don't show much; I just haven't compiled the tools necessary to better myself...

If you really want to bash the guy that is simply reinforcing your argument because you are so full of yourself, 1v1 (battle of teh host) me.

I used MLG and 1% Onyx players as an example from 1 of the 2 groups. They are the face of the competitive community, not the entirety of the competitive community.

Group 1 (competitive): play the game competitively. Generally, the ones that know what they are talking about are decent-good. MLG and 1% Onyx players fit into this category.

Group 2 (casual): everything else... care about having personal fun regardless of how the game works. Do you really think MLG and Onyx kids belong in this group...?

Note how I said before, outside of this post: decent to good players. Hopefully this doesn't sound arrogant, but I would like to consider myself somewhere between decent - good and fit into the competitive crowd.

What are you, 12?

It is really sad to see that this is what your "logical argument" has been reduced to. If I was 12, this would be unbelievably embarrassing for you...

Ya, the top 3% of all players should be the only ones to decide what happens in Halo games right? Ever heard of the French Revolution? Look it up. And please stop sounding like an idiot.

This is the reason why the Halo Community has gone to -blam!-. Everyone thinks there better than everyone else and the game is turned from enjoyable to Dbags like you boasting your the best. You are not a competitive player. Have you ever played Halo for a cash prize? Have you ever competed in a regional tourniment? MLG players are competitive players. You play this game for fun.

It all comes down to these simple questions. Why are you still here? The game obviously sucks and you hate it. Why are you a high rank in a game you dont even like? If you hate this game but you still play it you are insane. You play the same game over and over again expecting it will get better.

I have news for you buddy. If you dont like Reach so much, get out. Just go, no one wants you here anyway. I dont give a load whether some butthurt kid stops playing Halo.

I'm still finding it funny that people are arguing based on the generalization that they made stating that all competitive players make up 3% of the Halo population, do not enjoy themselves + have no idea what the word "fun" means, must win money to play competitively, etc...

These threads are retarded. Reach is trash. Get over it. Everyone.

...and OP is a -blam!- because he feels attacking others and discriminating their ranks gives him reason to condemn someone's entire opinion or even logical presentations (you know, like the statistics proving that Halo: Reach has the worst population statistics BY FAR than any other Halo multiplayer FPS game).

Of course, I know OP will strip down my entire service record, finding things like my incredibly low kill-death ratio in ranked in Halo 3, my thousands (yes, thousands) of boosted Rocket Race games, and probably some DNF boosting as well (just done recently in boredom). The only response I have for you is come back when you actually have some factual ground on your pathetic arguments. Have a nice day.
