Ever get tired of wondering how you died?

Well on COD2 for the computer, they have the kill cam(camera) which when you die, it takes the person who killed you's view of like 5 seconds before you died and plays it back to you when your dead, So basically you get to watch a recording of the person from his view killing you while you respawn.

This feature would save me the anger I emit when I die for reasons unknown to me and also alway me to build respect to the person who killed me, not just say "oh he just got a lucky shot"

So what do you say to the Kill Cam?

I KNOW all of your concerns of the fact that it can give away your position, but listen to this, this idea could have the function to be turned on and off. This feature could be used in unranked and custom games and maybe close combat ranked games. It shouldn't be used in normal ranked games.

Do none of you have a sense of humour?
We do, this just isn't funny.

No, that was rubbish, cause that ruins the point of a sniper...

You ahavea really good spot, then you kill someone and everyone knows where you are.... Its a silly idea!

I agree it was a neat idea for CoD2 but I think it would just give too much away in terms of position of a sniper in H3

that sounds cool, but it would suck for a sniper, mostly because a good sniper should get you without you even knowing where he is. He'd have to move after every shot. They should let you replay your kills and deaths after the game or something.

Hmm good point for the Sniper thing, Could have a feature that you can turn it off and on, and only use this Cam in Unranked and Custom Games.

Snipers should always be moving on Halo anyway. The tracer-like bullet gives away the snipers position either way.

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

only as an option at the end of the game, otherwise if you know the map you'll know exactly where to find who just took you out.

Maybe it should more like Battlefield 2: MC and just show you the direction of the enemy. It doesnt give the position of snipers away, unless you got a keen eye or know the layout of maps and stuff. If there was a Kill Cam for H3 then that would be best IMO. But of course, I like the death thing as it is in Halo...but thats just me.

would be good, i'm always wondering how people can kill me in the most impossible to kill places. Anyway, maybe if you kill someone with a sniper, it wouldn't replay it

Look for the signs, the keepers of the flame.
They will lead you to war, and perhaps, to victory.

Finish the Fight

Would be ok for some instances and not for others, so since it is not applicable to every situation, it has to be tossed. Cool idea though.

It was/is awesome for COD2, but Halo wouldn't work for it...
Besides that, it's actually 10 seconds before you died, last time I checked.

Yeah I agree but you can only view it on the computer when the game is over but I don't think Bungie would be able to pull that off. They are good with the whole view your game thing but I don't think they would be able to pull it off.

i think it should be put in. How often does a sniper get someone from far away and not be noticed.

( ; BANG --------------------------EVERYONE SEES LINE----------------------------- X ( YOUR DEAD

If you dont want a sniper to be noticed than take out that gas line. I think the camera is a great idea. You already loose your snipering position when you fire.

Someone besides me had this idea and I heard it on Podtacular (the unofficial Halo 2/3 Podcast)...

In the Postgame lobby, have it so that you can watch and save videos of gameplay, and be able to watch a vid of the game from any player's perspective, so that you can learn strategies and stuff.

I heard it and thought it was a pretty cool idea.

I don't like the idea of a Kill Cam though, because it would give too much away during a game. The idea of seeing how that enemy owned us all AFTER the game sounds like a cool idea, but certainly not necessary.
