Because they're all whiny gits who gripe, -blam!-, and complain when they don't get whatever they want or the game doesn't play exactly as they expected it would. Halo: Reach wasn't exactly like Halo 2/3, so it's automatically hated. Plus it's the new game, thus following the "new game is an utter abomination, previous game was God's gift to man" formula that the fandumb seems to hold. The same will happen with Halo 4, everyone will scream about it being rubbish and Reach being the best thing ever...and then the cycle will repeat anew with Halo 5.
There's nothing really wrong with Reach, no more than any Halo game before it anyway. Is it perfect? No, but neither are any of the other Halo games. While there may be aspects in each game that I don't particularly like, I still like the games...like right now I absolutely hate most of the changes 343i have been making with Reach, it feels like a step backwards toward Halo 2/3, which they should not be doing. Reach is its own game, it should play the way it was designed from the beginning.

Overpowered grenades, maps ripped from campaign, no 1-50,armor lock.
I can deal with the Bloom but I hate the things I listed. I don't hate the game. Also, people don't like it because it's their OPINION.
I don't really disagree with you, just thought I'd point out though that the maps weren't ripped from the campaign. The multi-player maps were the ones that were created first and then inserted into the campaign. Not the other way round...that seems to be quite the common misconception.
