Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

Why are words working through your mouth?

If you don't like it, go play halo 3. I don't see why people have to complain about every single detail of a game that irritates them. Besides, it's rank. Only 7 year olds care about rank.

because little kids that this game wasn't even designed for can't handle the thought of not getting a 50 so they whined and complained for an easier ranking system that allowed bad players to be the highest rank.

The result is what we have in reach.

This game (and from the sounds of it) halo 4 are being catered to kids that aren't even legally old enough to buy the game and I'm sick of it.

Well just to let you know there is no age of consent for buying video games. just company policies.

every halo game that has ever been produced has had the words "must be 17 or older to purchase" on it.

Yet day in and day out I see 5 year olds on xbl playing halo. The original halos were designed to be competitive shooters and little five year olds don't have fun getting beat 50-5 by people who are actually good so they complain and they have somehow convinced bungie/343i to dumb the game down for them even though they shouldn't be playing it in the first place.

actually it says rated M for Mature(+17). this rating is required by law to be on the package and disc but it is only there as a means of warning and has nothing to do with the purchase of the game
other than that, i agree. game got dumbed down by the money hungry Bungie to get more sales

I just looked up the rating system and to an extent you are right. It is only a recommendation put out by the ESRB.

But in reality, have your ever been to a store that didn't follow that recommendation?

Let me stop you right there and remind everyone that this has been considered law in most states and with most stores. It's not just a recommendation anymore.

The ESRB rating and M rated games is serious business, and most stores comply. I have not seen one store that does not comply yet.

Most stores i've been to that sell games (EB Games, Video Ezy, Harvey Norman etc.) don't really care if you're 15, only if you look around that age. Also, it's only the campaign that gets rated, not the online.

that doesnt matter anymore. kids are still getting their hands on these game because they bring their parents with them. so they might as well just be handing the game to these kids since that is basically all they are doing anyway.

there is no point of the ESRB system if no one pays attention to it...namely the parents. they dont care so the kid gets the game anyway.

100% Australian.

Legally you have to be 15 to purchase a Halo game in Australia. Stores will actually ask you for ID. R.etard parents who buy their little stain of a child whatever the spoilt brat wants are to blame.

Maybe because we like Halo? I agree with him, does this make me a hater.
Also, just because you don't care about it, doesn't mean that only 7 year olds do.

Why even bother, really?
I rage.

I'm not 7 and I care about rank. I understand what you mean though man. Just would be nice if there was a more competitive side to the game.

I never did join waypoint. Besides, I would probally get banned at waypoint for sharing my opinion in the first place

~ Videogames are my favorite videogames ~

Why do people keep thinking the main rank system was meant for showing skill, even 2 years after release?
That's what the divisions are for, this is just for cosmetic/time invested.

It's pretty obvious, or am I just overestimating people?
