It is possible that the choices you make in Halo 3 will affect the plot outcome at the end of the game. Since the trailer takes place when the supposed Ark activates, does this mean that Chief made some wrong decisions?[Edited on 6/1/2006]
this isnt fable, and I doubt they would throw something as big as this in the final game of a trilogy, it doesent make sense to add such a big change in gameplay on the last game.
Why not?
Last i checked, H3 was gonna be a FPS, not an RPG.
The trailer simply confirms that Halo 3 is Official, nothing more
Halo 3 is not an RPG. alternate endings would confuse everyone

i would h8 alternate endings.. u would miss out stuf, so u would have to go over stuf again to get to the different plot...neway.... i like halo as it is.
that would be -blam!- -blam!-
i dont see what would be wrong with it...i wouldnt hate it if they left it out, but i wouldnt love it if they put it in either
The halo story was not meant to have an alternate ending. It would ruin the whole story to have two endings. But if they did have one in an extras disk that would be cool.
I was thinkin a Kotor kind of thing ya know?
Doc: "i'm a pacifist"Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"
halo follows a story line, making it devoted to that story line. the game itselft doesn't have to be linear, but it does need to follow the story.
lol im not tryin to falme u but the trailer has nothing to do with master chiefs choices.

I don't think that it should effect plot. However, it could effect battles, like if you fail to rescue a few squads of Marines, you may have less support in a mission down the road.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but that would be a letdown for me if the did something like that.
