Well, to clarify, you didn't really fight the Elites in Halo 3.

I'd say grunts and brutes. The helmet shooting gets annoyingly troublesome when you are trying to kill a large group of them quickly.

I voted Grunts.
The "Hero" Grunts finally got a helmet that prevents a 1 shot kill, effectively making them twice as hard to kill.
Still not hard to kill, but it takes twice the shots it used to.

hunters lost their fuel rod beam, now they just have their projectile, easier to evade easier to kill, not to mention in the basic design of the level they are no longer fought while they have backup so that makes them easier to kill to, as opposed to the swarms that always went with them to flush you out in halo 3

I'm going to vote for Elites. It seems like those are much harder to kill. I hate running into elites on a Legendary run.

Wellllll.... Elites are stronger and smarter, but the ease with which a PP and a DMR can take them down is beyond stupid.

The Elites in Halo Reach obviously got the biggest buff from when they were in Halo 3 since they're no longer friendly AI. Bungie doesn't want the friendly AI to do all of the work for you, so the Elites in Halo 3 were pretty weak.

Hunters for sure, those things are lethal when compared to the Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 Hunters.

I would have to say grunts, because now they're actually competent in a group of 10-20. Hunters, on the other hand, probably got downgraded. The removal of the fuel beam(is that what it's called?)removes what was basically was their only attack. All they can really do is hit you if you try to melee-back kill them, and they defidently have'nt gotten more health. Maybe if you were playing campaign on, like, legendary they could run interferance against vehicles. Other than that, Hunters pretty much blow. (Sorry if i'm ranting)

Will we be including ODST in this? Because the brutes in ODST were pretty tougher than brutes in other games.
