So i was thinking earlier today, about how much of a tight @$$ tipper gore was about esrb rating and video games in general. i also remember in the 2000 election overhearing that if Gore got elected that Tipper would most likely put an end to most M rated games.i mean think how llife would be today without GTA:III and GTA: Vice City and Halo of course but that was teen but Halo 2 is M.it just releaves me that Gore didnt get elected.....to an extent. id rather go without violent video games then have a trillion dollar national and the biggest mistake in american history. since not much i can do now, ill just play some Fable. Post your comments on video games in general and how it would be if Tipper Gore ruined alot of a great games for us.

Well the Madame President has to do something "for the community" usually and I guess that's what she thought would be a good platform to base her "helping the community" campaign on. Although it's a pretty weak campaign platforom as many killings never trickle directly back to video games. It's really hard to prove video games affected someone's mind to do something horrid unless the accusee admits he was affected by a video game. People shouldn't go around making negative conclusions about video games without just cause.

While I agree on more than one level, this is dangerously close to becoming political (just so you know)

Video games are becoming a big part of world society. In a few years they'll be recognized in politics probably. Good thing video games fall under the first amendment in the US. Sorry to anyone else around the world that may have their video games affected by politics.
