how about when we make custom games in halo 3 , we can edit the amount of damage a gun . like have a slider bar next to the name of the gun and slide it up in increments to increase the damage from the normal amount , or slide it down to make them weaker then they should be "COUGH" SWORD "COUGH" it would also bring weapons that are never used because they do no damage back into mutiplayer like the needler. i think it would bring new possiblilities in new types of user made gamemodes like zombies or somthing

Bungie would never do this, they believe firmly in balanced weapons. The sword can be countered, or maybe use some strategy to gain distance between you and the sword carrier.

Some one tallented with the shotgun (not me) can kill the sword every time with a well timed shot, we dont call the shotgun over powered do we?

the sword is not hard to counter. shotty, rocket, the "noob combo", grenades, br, and strafing will work against the sword.

take the sword and give me a shotty and i will destroy you. utterly and absolutely.
