Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

as i said on another thread (that rhymed), what if the forerunners only found one species of intelligent life in the universe, humans, and tasked them with actiavting halos and ark. the covies at this point would be like normal animals on the forerunner planet. when they finally evolve and advance in technology ("imitative not innovative") i.e. the forerunners technology, they discover that humans were tasked with initiating "the great journey" (perhaps told to them by forerunners as a way of finding humans), they become angry and feel betrayed. they go and try to find the humans but to kill them and use them to activate the halos.

what do you think?
discuss!

Not too bad, but it does say that the Covenant attack humanity because they got in the way of finding Forerenner artifacts.

all part of the "great journey" my friend.
the covies did not offer the humans into the covenant because (maybe just the prophets) hate them

And the previous activation killed all the forerunners, so how did they meet the Humans?

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

do you mean humans being there or covies. maybe in those days covies weren't of "sufficient biomass" to be affected by the halos or weren't sentient.
humans evolved with an immuntiy to the halos

the flood do something to the calcium in bones so i'm guessing that's how the halos work, but i do not know how humans would survive it because i'm not a chemist, physician or biologist so i dont know how those sorts of things work. and anyway, we don't know everything in the human body yet. so it may be something undiscovered, i.e. bungie might mkae it up.

The Halo fire can't be an explosion, as everything, including the halos themselves. would be destroyed, but causing a mass chemical reaction? Hmm...
