Yes, I seem to go toward the less reply threads more too.

I do this a lot.

I don't even bother in threads with more than a few pages. Mostly because I like to read all the replies. 10 pages? No thanks.

If the thread is a good thread that could have lots of fun discussion and it's being buried under a load of crap, then I'll post in it to help it get going.

I always think on posting, but don't know what or no one cares of what the person said.

I often missread the thread in an attempt to be first, take Daz's current hot topic for example.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I too feel the urge to post in a new thread. Unless it is against the rules. Then I won't.

Where are all you "reply to 0 replies threads" guys when I make threads?... TT_TT

Edit: This makes remarkably less sense then I had, at first, anticipated...

If there are too many replies I usually won't respond because I don't feel like reading all of them.

  • 04.23.2012 2:44 PM PDT

Кланяються мені!

Certainly.

This post in fact intrigued me as I had though it had zero replies for a second :)

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Yes, to have a better chance to contribute to a discussion and raise the OP's self esteem, especially if he/she us newer to the site. We all had a thread or two that didn't get many replies, I feel like it's just the right thing to do to help them out.

If I put pancake mix in my X-Box 360 Disc drive will it make pancakes?

I agree with this. Vastly in part becuase if a thread has 50+ replies most likely all the intelligent respones have been used. If they have not bee, I wouldn't know. I'm not one for reading 50 replies to the same topic.

Say what?

I like to post in threads with low post counts.

"There's daggers in men's smiles." - Donalbain, Macbeth, Act II, scene iii

Everyone reads the OP and the second post in a thread; it's only natural to have the urge to post in a thread with zero replies.

The amount of replies in a thread doesn't matter to me usually, I tend to reply to a thread based on what it's about.

They just go missing in action.

Depends on the thread; I won't post if it's a thread I should report.

I feel this way because the question at hand has not been answered, therefor I have a reason to make a reply.

Looking for clan that isn't too serious? Then join the ODST 501st Airborne Battalion. Go to http://www.501st.forumclan.com for more info.

I have that feeling indeed. When I'm posting in a thread with 0 replies I always think, "Must. Reply. FIRST!"

Yes, I find it works the other way aswell. I'm less likely to post in a thread that has 250 replies because I feel my post would be lost among all the discussions that are already taking place.
