Subject: My hope for Halo3

Halo 1 had a much edgier, darker feel to it. It was lonely, the flood levels were scarier, and there was a lot less corny lines from the troops. The vibe wasnt so much, "Let's go kill those guys, yeah, this is fun!" like Halo 2 was. I really hope (but doubt) Halo 3 wil drop the cheesiness, the overly-dramatic cutscenes, and oh my god, the "rock-out" sountrack moments. I was just embarassed when those guitar riffs came in.

Please, make me feel like I'm actually there, and not in a bad movie. Rekindle the darker feel of Halo 2. This is my wish for Halo 3.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

i agree but i prefer halo 2. the new look made it more accessible

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

i loved both games, campaign wise, but i prefer halo CE over halo 2. but the music for halo 2 rocked so i don't know what your talking about. it could have been employed better but it was still pretty good.

They should have online co-op..Just think about that we are the fans that are going to do anything to wait in the line in the cold for this game..and say if i we wanna beat the story but same time be online...What better way to show the advantages of xbox live, then to sent a friend invite to do campaign in co op online...That would meen we share a great story with friends all OVER the world and XBOX LIVE. And when your done, of course matchmaking with a party full of buddies!!!

The music was good, but it was innapropriate, and there was too much. I liked the silence in Halo CE, it gave it a better feel. And you know that part where the brutes, Elites, and Hunters are all duking it out and that guitar riff comes in? Ridiculous.

Sega Mega Drive, Golden Axe and Sonic all day!

i like the H2 music! H1 is a lot more tactical and open ended in how you can approach each skirmish. H2 is essentially a corridoor shooter. More thinking for H3!
