K so i have this problem. I have two computers that both have Halo PC on them. I used the same CD to install them both. I host a game over LAN with one of them, but when i try to connect to the game with the other, it says that i have an "INVALID CD CODE". This happens when both of the computers try to connect to the same game, even someone elses game (over the internet). Is there any way to fix this WITHOUT having to buy another copy of Halo? Please help. Thx.

Dude, Halo PC's User's License Agreement, along with all other of today's computer games, say that you aren't allowed to install the game on more than one PC. That means, if you and your friend want to play it on two computers, well, you're going to need two copies (Duh). It's quite obvious, and try not to be so ignorant. PC games are different from console games.

Anyways, I think you must simply uninstall HPC on one PC. That should probably work.

Blargh!! I hate it when people do this. No offence, but read the stickies. If you don't have the CD key then don't ask. If it doesn't work otherwise then yeah I was too lazy to read the rest of the post so call me a retard but I'll probably be too lazy to read that as well.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

Blargh! I hate it when people read only the title of the thread.

He is asking how to fix it, not for a CD Key.

To the OP:
You need to buy a new copy of Halo.

READ not only the TITLE, but the whole THREAD. As the guy above me explained, he asked for help because he had a PROBLEM with a CD Key, not losing one...

I agree, and although Ipjuunin and such is right, this guy shouldn't have gotten this problem in the first place.
