Ok, here's the idea. In Halo 3, Bungie should make it so that you can choose to be an onlooker to the match, but not worry about interfering in the match. I call it the "Camera Spartan". Here's the deal:
You can be in the game, but not be seen AT ALL. No active camo, just not visible at all. You cannot hurt or affect anyone in the game, and they cannot affect you. You cannot touch anyone, and everyone else just goes through you. You can see everyone's symbol in the game, and know where they're going to be before they know, so you can get a good angle on the fight that will happen.
I find that this would be good for grudge matches where it may be 2v2 or 1v1, but people want to watch, and they don't want one of the people that is participating in the actual fight to have host. It would also be good for the many people out there who want to make montages, but don't want to put Action Replay on their Xbox. You could just have one person be the "Camera Spartan" in a custom game, and look at the battles for the montage. That way you can have a montage consisting of kills in first person view or kills in 3rd person.
I'd like any feedback on this idea (improvements or criticisms). I'd really like it if Bungie takes notice as well.
