Subject: Ban Vs Threads?

A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

I mean they are all the same, almost always involve Master Chief Vs someone, and really they don't have that much discussion value.

So should you be banned? You did just make a vs thread.

They seem to just cause clutter, and flaming sometimes, and are always repeat threads more or less.

We should know better, because we are better.

No, they can be entertaining. Even though there is flaming, that is only to be expected. People can have an intelligent discussion in those threads just as easily. Of course, expect ridiculously huge numbers.

Say what?

You know you aren't forced to read every thread.

OP I am pretty sure I get what you are saying, but your title is a little confusing.

To other he is saying should all "verses" type threads be against the rules.

Honestly I think if they are posted in the Flood, they are perfectly fine. Sure most of them are repeat threads but if the Ninjas started banning for repeat threads BNet would be a lifeless graveyard. These specific threads rules used to exist but personally I believe the current "case by case" system if perfectly acceptable. For example if the ninjas believe "Pancakes vs Waffes" to be a spam fest then they will lock it.

Key

I thought you wanted to have a discussion about which was better, Bans or Threads.

I no longer wish to participate in this discussion now that I've realized your true motives.

thanks for explaining the tile thew me off...

i think the flood(off topic forum) is there for those kinds of threads there is not only going to be serious dicussions in a off topic forum... plus if the community hated them so much they would just not post in them.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."
