i think bungie should have at least 6 maps on there that let up to 32 players. just think, you got 2 warhogs full of people coming at your base, then around the turn comes 4 ghosts at full speed. you have both tanks with 5 people on each. just the choas of that battle alone would be great.

Bungie has already confirmed only 16 players will be able to play system link and splitscreen. Although 16 xbox's can be used instead of 4, so every player can have thier own screen. (No there is not 64 player capabilites) Xbox live, right now supports 16, but bungie might make Xbox live be able to support more...but I doubt it. There is more lag over xbox live than system link.

They also said that XBL games could only have 16.

Wow, a lot of what you just said has not been confirmed; it's still speculation and nothing is confirmed yet

As far as amounts of people playing over Live, LAN, or whatever, nothing has been confirmed

The only thing we know is that what was in Halo, will be in Halo 2; it's just a matter of what they're adding to this

yah, they havent stated how many peeps can play on a LAN at your house, cause LAN's have like no lag cause they are a direct connection. However, I like it of how bungie usually keeps it simple and sticks with 16 players. Playing BG with 16 people is mayhem which is just right. Once you get up past 16, it becomes "o i killed a person woppdeedo" kinda like in Tribes Ariel Assault on PS2 (i was a t a friends house ok?? its not my falut i had to play the -blam!- game)

YES! they are confirmed? where have you been? read frankie's latest update! there is a link to it a HBO, the link was never put on bungie.net but Frankie does confirm that system link will be able to do 16 xbox's and 16 TV's with 16 players....and I am pretty sure it will also have the same system link like 4 split screen vs another xbox with 4 splitscreen! just wait and see...

What you said is that everything he said is the max, which isn't true, or at least not confirmed at all

But I always say the same thing: just wait and see...
