I intend to live forever, or die trying.

I realize I will likely not get answer to this question seeing as Bungie is dark at the moment and is keeping any and all detail on their next project on the down low.

However I just had to ask because ever since November last year have become more and more angry at myself for paying $100.00 for the Call of Duty Elite service which in my opinion pales in comparison to what Bungie has always given me for free over several years for all the Halo titles.

Now I truely realize how generous and dedicated to their fans Bungie really is and I wanted to say thank you, and I hope in the future Bungie may continue to give us a free and better version of stat tracking that others in the industry may charge us gamers a fee for.

I can't imagine that they wouldn't. It was super successful with Halo afterall.

Positive vibes.

I certainly hope so. That would be unfortunate if we were required to pay for something like that. :)

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

.....That would upset me....

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

I would bet a lot of money that they will have an outstanding stats page on this site for free for their next game.

They'll charge two cents for every projectile fired and a dollar for each time you want to check your stats.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

On one hand, it's an awesome business ploy - on that same hand it discourages the "smarter" customers. On the other hand - the hand we shared with Halo - it definitely provided a beloved service to their fans, and it's really what got so many of us involved in their Community. This, in turn, has kept many of us here, and more than willing to spend a few bucks more than a few bucks.

So, in my opinion, the real question here is - which would you rather have; a quick buck, or long lasting relationships ending in profits? Though, I am just a naive business student....

My enjoyment of Bungie games over the last 10 years has had little to nothing to do with stats. They're interesting but not worth paying for.

They are a by-product of the game itself.

Elite is not just stats.....if bungie had a feature like "bungie pro" witch gave you a lot of thing that normal members do not have then yes i think they will change us....

But if itz just stats then no they will most likely not :)

Since Bungie values her fans so much, I tend to think stats will be free. Other serices such as provided under Bungie Pro is another issue. I think we could see expanded services for more options.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

They have had free stats since Myth so I am sure the trend will continue.
