Subject: Do You Prefer B.Net When It's Extremely Active Or Slow?

Spread the love...

For example, right now I consider bungie.net to be moderately dead. Threads are being recycled, the same group of members (more or less) post, and things move slowly.

However, after major games are released (Like Halo Reach and Halo 3, for example) there is an uproar of activity, posting, and threads. This makes sense, because more fans are drawn to the website and there is a lot more to discuss.

My question is which "phase" of bungie.net you prefer.

I think I prefer the one we are currently in; slow. I say this because although the discussion is slightly down, everyone here is really dedicated to Bungie and we can talk in-depth about interesting topics.

How about you?

Who the hell do you think I am?

Somewhere in between there, most of the time.

But it really just depends on what the subject of the forum is for me.

IN BETWEEN WASN'T AN OPTION!!!!!

lol but yeah, I get what your saying. I guess somewhere in-between would be the most ideal phase.

Active. No question.

I do kind of like how the community has become a little more mature after the stats close. I do miss having something to theorize and look forward too.

It's hard to tell you how active I like it. I like it to be active enough that there's a good amount of interesting discussion going on (for every time I refresh the page or so); but I don't like it when it's overwhelmingly active or made up of a lot of low quality threads.

I like it slow. It gives me time to read different threads.

That's sort of contradictory though. If it's slow, then it's slow. But if it has lots of new threads, then it's fast. So it can't be "slow with lots of new threads".

no, if there is a bunch of new thread made but no replys then it is slow... take the flood for example it is fast because people are constantly replying to thread... do you understand?

Active.

When we have nothing to talk about people keep repeating ideas, over, and over and over again.

If it was a little bit more hasty than it is now I wouldn't mind it at all.

  • 04.26.2012 4:12 PM PDT

I prefer it to be active, even if that means I miss some good threads every once in a while. It's just a more interesting community when there are higher activity rates. For example, being here on the weekend is always a nice contrast to the weekdays.

Too active (at least when it's concentrated in one forum) is bad, too slow is worse. Somewhere in the middle is best.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

The pace B.Net is going right now is perfectly fine with me. It doesn't seem that slow from my perspective.
