Then perhaps it's time for you to hang up Halo for good, if all you expect is disappointment.Perhaps. To me, Reach was an average game, but didn't live up to its predecessors. A AAA franchise like Halo was bound to turn to the CoD side eventually, so I can't say I'm surprised. There have been a lot of let downs with sequels among my favorite games these past few years, and I doubt 343 can reverse that trend.
I'm actually waiting for Planetside 2. It fills my Halo and Battlefield interests quite well. If Halo 4 doesn't reverse the trend that started after Halo 2, then I have a reason to finally sell my Xbox. If a miracle occurs and Halo 4 brings about a golden age of gaming again, then that is one more great game I can spend time enjoying. I feel dirty saying this, but it's a win-win either way for me.

See, there is discussing things and putting it forward why we dont like them, and then there is mindlessly hating.
More info? We dont even know what some of these items do or how they work.
More info to me means knowing what they all do.You still haven't clearly defined when I'm allowed to criticize the game. Considering the only way to know for sure how a game feels is to play it, and there isn't going to be a beta, in order to make a 100% informed opinion I have to wait until the game comes out.
Besides, mindless hatred is just as valuable feedback as the multi-volumed posts you see from Hylebos or A 3 Legged Goat. If you get enough complaints from fans about a game mechanic, regardless of the quality of the hatred, it is something you as a developer should probably look into (after all, you created the game so your fans could have fun playing it, and it looks like a sizable chunk of them aren't having fun). Mindless hatred gets their attention, while long, thought out posts get the point across.
