H3>H2>CE>HW>ODST>Reach=H4.
imo.
H2 and H3 are the only 2 that are possibly interchangeable. Then you can keep playing Halo 2/Clone(3) forever since that's apparently all you want.
Logic'd.
Because he can definitely play Halo 2 with the servers that aren't shut down and play Halo 3 against barely anyone in any playlist aside from Social Slayer.
A) I was pointing out that Halo 3 is pretty much just a clone of 2 w/new maps and equipment, and am aware that H2 is down (though if I said Halo 2.5 that might've been just as effective.)
B) Halo 3's current population compared to Reach's current population really does speak against all those "Everyone hates Reach" enthusiasts that like to speak for the whole community.
A) Halo 3 is vastly different due to the multitude of changes done to the internal systems that you don't look at. If you look at a picture of the two games, in ignorance, you will say that they are carbon-copies, but if you actually played the game at even a slightly competitive level (which, I'm going to assume you don't) you would notice huge differences to things like bullet detection & magnetism, hitscan properties (or in this sense, a lack of hitscan), different hitboxes, netcode, etc...
B) Durrrrr. Because Halo 3 is 5 years old. You can take any game and you will find that the population will move on once the newest installment hits. It has very little to do with quality, it has much more to do with recency. People call Super Mario 64 one of the best Mario games, but you will see that more people buy and play Mario Galaxy nowadays. Why? It's because the game is so old and casual gamers gravitate towards what is newer or just move on. Most people that moved on have been playing the game for 5 years and don't feel like going to a game that the developers don't give a damn about anymore so they can play the game that all of their friends aren't playing. Get it through your thick skull, kid.
It's also important to note that not all of Halo 3's population migrated to Halo: Reach. Halo 3 was #1 most played Xbox Live game for several years prior to the release of Modern Warfare 2. Halo: Reach only managed to stay #1 for about a week then quickly dropped. That means two things. Most of Halo 3's population did migrate at first, but for some reason, most of them decided to stop playing Reach about a week later and thus the game dropped from first. At the same time, the populations in COD rose quite a lot. That means, with no other decent shooters to play at the time, much of Halo 3's fanbase either stayed in Halo 3 or moved on to Call of Duty or other games.
