Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. ~ Einstien

Self Portrait in Watercolor.

What kind of pranks are commonplace at Bungie studios? Are there ones so fowl you dare not share?

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

As my hand cannot draw the images from my mind as result of an injury, I shall use the keyboard to convey this image full of soul and solitude.

Picture, a lone soldier, leaning against a wall of a city. The streets empty save for a dead Covenant patrol and a few damaged vehicles and trash blowing in the light breeze. In one hand, his pistol hangs limp, in the other, his helmet. He collapses to the ground, finally succumbing to the wounds suffered during the fight. In one last, withering act of hope, he looks up towards the sky, suddenly lamenting that this seems such a terrible place to die, beneath the flickering bilboards and among the filth of the gutter. Ignoring the filth, he looks back towards the stars, and they seem such a beautiful sight, but suddenly, what's this? A sound. It doesn't sound natural. It seems a ringing, a cheerful ringing. He turns his gaze from the starry night and looks across the street where one of the phone booths has lit up, and seems to be...ringing.

Serious questions might not be 'as fun,' but you've gotta keep in mind... we're all here not for Halo, but for Bungie. We like Bungie. We have a vested interest in the company and the people that work there. And as such, we find it fascinating when we find out what life is like there. So I just mean... answering serious questions about Bungie's past and stuff? That's not bad. That's something really awesome. The part about the warthog-audio? Awesome to read about.

Just my own thoughts though.
Its really annoying seeing three silly questions answered rather than the serious one I've asked two mail sacks in a row.
Get over it. The fact that employees are taking the time to interact with us at all through the mailsacks is pretty awesome.

Let them have their fun. Don't get mad because your mail didn't get answered. Luck of the draw, man.

I don't have a problem with the mail sacks in general. I don't think I accurately represented my feelings on the subject. I just wish there were more serious questions answered, I suppose. I mean, have I asked joke questions in the past? Sure. But, disregarding the one I've asked that isn't even close to being hugely important in the grand scheme of things, I suppose that I wish I at least knew why they skip over serious questions like that in favor for some others when they do apparently read them all.

I've got no immediate problem with the actual mail sacks, not even a particular one with the way they are now. I just wish there were more serious ones answered.

Thank you, it means a lot :)

However I don't class me spending ages fixing every line as 'skills'. Just perseverance I guess.

'Get over it?' Interacting to learn things that would be genuinely interesting is far, far better than some lame, useless ''interacting'' of pointless ''facts'' or ''funny'' comments that nobody will remember a day later.

Are you honestly going to say you would rather they did it this way than answering things that are genuinely interesting?

Yes it's great they do this at all. But... so what? Why comment on that? If they're going to do it, shouldn't they do it right? Funny things are great, but FOCUSING on those things just... isn't interesting. The only joy anybody could get out of the mailsacks at that point is if THEIR ''funny'' question was answered. Because I can assure you I don't give a crap what someones' 'favorite verb is' or convoluted questions posted just because they're convoluted.
