I know that Bungie no longer manages Halo or the stats for Halo. But here this out.

We kind of had a base feature for this, but it could be easily improved. A 24 slot fileshare can only do so much, let alone a 6 slot. The recent screenshots feature sucks when you run the limit. So, I thought of this idea.

Why not have the feature of managing all of the Halo files from your xbox hard drive, on the stats website? (in this case, halo.xbox.com) Have a personal folder for all of your saved gametypes, maps, films/clips, screenshots, etc. This way file sharing over the internet could be so much easier and it wouldn't be a pain to upload and take down files in your fileshare, just so you can link things to people so it would be easier. Certain files that you don't want people to see could be kept in a private file that only you can see.

This feature would mean that your account on 343 would have to be linked to your gamertag or something like that. What do you guys think?

Wouldn't this suggestion mean that a user would have to leave their console on if they wanted people to download their files while the user was at school/work/doing something other than gaming?

No. It would mean that the user could access could manage his files on the website, but he would have to be signed in on the website, not on his xbox.

ex. Lets just say this was on Bungie.net. My gamertag would have to be linked to my Bungie account in order for me to manage the files. Anybody could look at the files in my public folders though.
