Subject: Halopedia vs Halo Nation

Halo Nation seems like -blam!- in my opinion, but its always the first to appear on google so it clearly is more popular, wondering which one is actually more quality though. I do hate wikia's, they do tend to be edited by 2 year olds.

Halopedia my friend. Don't give in to peer pressure!

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

I was under the impression that they were the same thing. Halopedia is what Halo Nation was originally called until a hacker decided to put -blam!- into the site through ads. Eventually this was fixed, but by then, halopedia had already split.

I started up the heated debate on whether the SPARTAN-II in the cryo tube near the end of Reach is really Linda.
I created the Moa XING avatar pic.
Also I earned the All Star nameplate with this submission to Week 14 All Stars http://www.bungie.net/images/News/Inline11/bwu_0415/art/likea boss.jpg

The people behind Halo Nation created Halopedia. Halo Nation is pretty much open for noobs to edit it with their speculation.

And is Halopedia not open to such editing? Just wondering.

We should know better, because we are better.

Neither.

Halopedia is just so much easier to navigate!

Halo Nation has way more traffic, so it has a lot more poor editors/writers running around unchecked.

t3hAvenger77 - XBL (BF3, ME3, Blops)
decla1mer104 - Origin (BF3)
Steam

I prefer the former. Halo Nation is too cluttered for my liking.

"Where ere thou hast been, here or in yon world manifest? Canst thou tell what is, or what was, or what is to come? No thing shall last. Yet there are some things that will never change. History is written in blood, yet are battles really lost on the battlefield? Canst thou tell me where thou comest, and where thou goest, and what is, or what was, or what will be? For everything remains, AS IT NEVER WAS."

Not quite. Halo Nation focuses more on the actual gameplay elements of the items (say the MA5C or the Warthog,) and is more "video game." Halopedia focuses more on the canon of objects and figures, and is more "fiction." Halo Nation is easier edited, but with Halopedia I've had trouble making edits that are undeniably canonically sound. They're more secure than many give them credit for. If it's on Halopedia, you can rest assure that it's canon. Halo Nation tends to be more "fan fiction"-y.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

Seeing how Bungiepedia is the one who DeeJ had a Ride Along and interview with, I would go with them.
