Bungie told us while they were making Halo 2 that you could take cover in the shadows and hide from the enemy while standing right in from of them and they would use flashlights to seek you out in the darkness. This is ridiculous cause i have tried this numerous times on the level High Charity in the darkest spot in the game right when get into the prophets inner sanctum, the place that is right before the last gravity bridge and the end of MC's last level. But the moment you get up there two stupid grunts instantly spot you, it is RIDICULOUS. It would have been uber sweet to be able to melt into the shadows like the spartans do in the books. They also said that they would be levels on the MOON!

XBL: KNIGHTOFDRAGONS

They cut that from the game.
