IF bungie would have dedicated servers for Halo 3 then we wont have to worry about getting cheated.

I've recently bought a game called battlefield 2 modern combat....im sure many of you that have bought the game may have noticed...that when you play online you play on EA's Servers...therefore its practicaly impossible to have any network interference whatsoever and thus getting rid of the options to cheat using standbye or modding.

Now its impossible to enjoy Halo 2 matchmaking due the high level amount of people cheating...Halo 2 is a popular game...many people play it sadly it seems many people playing it are cheaters...If Bungie wants a game that everyone can enjoy without worriing about cheaters or even banning cheaters that much then all they have to do is use a similar system as EA, it will make them happier and us as fans happier.

Ive played 27 hours of BF2MC and in a VERY long time Ive actually enjoyed a game playing online...im a big FPS fan so I was a very happy camper when I played 7 hours straight and didnt get cheated once.

just a thought, feel free to express yourselves =P

BTW the easier way to get rid of cheaters is simply getting rid of Two month Trial cards... Thats the only reason people actually cheat, if there were no two months.. the people who cheat would have to pay 50 dolars everytime they get banned... and unless you're rich daddy's little boy then it will hurt losing 50 bucks, so that would deter cheaters and modders.

u dont have to have so-called "host" to cheat

The problem with dedicated servers is that in a couple years when the popularity of the game has died down and there's no enough interest in the game for EA or Bungie to bother having these servers, what are you supposed to do? You can't play anymroe because there aren't any servers to play, they've all been taken down because it was costing too much money to keep them running. So Bungie was smart in making a player from each game be the host, that way, theoretically, you could play forever, as long as there is someone else to play with

well, halo 2 is still being played by, almost teice as many people as the first few months of it, and its been 2 years, so if u think of it, halo is getting so popular and halo 3 will eventually be heard gloabally and many people will be buying xboxs and 360s and get hooked, then halo 3 will be widely spread and get as much as 3 times more popular then halo 2 and more people will keep playing, so if bungie is telling the truth as this will be the last halo game then the game wil be played forever, in the guys words that is above me

exactly plus dedicated servers could easily be transfered to any game bungie chooses...its not like u have to throw them away if noone plays the game...

bungie has nothing to loose since Halo is MS #1 game and who hasnt heard of Halo....theres a HUGE fan base...i mean...theyre making a movie....nuff said...
