During the production of Halo 2, and after Halo 2's release, several of Bungie's oldest employees left the company and Microsoft, out of frustration or they made enough money off Halo 2 and Halo 1 (the latter which I doubt), it's none of my business.

The bottom line is, the minds who created Halo 1, the gameplay, the story, several of them are gone, if I know what I know. If you know otherwise, feel free to disagree with me, I'm not looking for an argument... I'm just saying...

only one or 2 people left... for the most part the original people are still there. one ore 2 people leaving isn't enough to change the entire game.

Bungie doesn't see gamers any more. They see walking credit cards.

What do the minds of the people that made Halo CE have to do with Halo 3? From what you said the same people that made Halo 2 also made Halo CE.

The Master of Stealth ......I am the SILENCE

and all i can say is that can only be a good thing halo was a great game but lets face its MP sucked major balls i mean come on ppl only used the pistol rocktets and sniper with ocasional shotgun thrown in it was a very unblanced game as far as the MP went

solo play was great dont get me wrong but the mmost played aspect of a game these days is online MP

halo 2's MP was miles better than HALO's it was balanced more diverse tactics better map design etc etc etc everything was better

now halo 3 will probly take the bes bits of halo's story aspects
open areas large scale battles and defnce situations and stick in an online section simliar to that of halo 2

because i mean come on no matter how much ppl go on saying halo was more fun to play MP is lieing i mean whats fun about 3 shot kills with a comon gun or out sniping a sniper with a pistol i mean come on

ont get me wrong i love both games and they were both made with what was the most important parts of a game as the focus points at the time they were made

Chu Hamiliton left, he was someone important, and lot's of design & multiplayer guys left. I read it like two weeks ago so my memory isn't as sharp, but more than 15 Older Bungie empoyees went to work with Sony because they were mad at Microsoft trying to rush Halo 2...

Ed Fries also left, he was a big name too.

ill be frank with you. The people who actually count in the halo/bungie industry, stayed. All of them. The people who left are probably the crap ones who couldnt stand working under the good ones shadow anymore.
Bungie are an ancient people, and their elders lead the n00b's to victory!!!!!!

And nilator, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?

You made absolutely no sense. I'm saying that Bungie worked on Halo 1. Before/a little after Halo 2 was released, many Bungie employees left. These employees are the ones that made Halo: Combat Evolved the great game it is, it required skill, had a great story of survival and diversed maps... it was perfection. I never play my SC: Chaos Theory online, I play campaign, not every can afford Xbox Live (although I do have it obviously) and online play is not something to focus on, especially with a storyline like what Bungie's got with Halo 3.

If the people who made Halo 1 great are not there, I'm just saying Halo 3 is not gonna be like Halo 1. I'm not saying H3's gonna suck, I'm just saying those who want the H1 style of play back are wishing in vain.
