To fully get it you have to put yourself in context - first time at the Halo campaign, playing on Heroic coop. We get to Assault on the Control Room, which is one of the most rewarding gaming experiences around, we finish at past midnight, my buddy takes a nap and I keep going. On Heroic, still in my first run at the campaign, after joyriding through Aotcr. I'm thoroughly weirded out by the time I get to the famous door. My reaction is something close to Die Freaks Die!, though has a fair amount of 'I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die' and 'Shotgun, I love you as I never thought I could love a gun'
Great (read creepy and atmospheric) moments in the level from that first run:
1) The ally blips in the swamp - even now they still weird me out
2) The lone Fighter on the hill.
3) The marine with no marbles (though these days I call him "pistol ammo man")
4) Private Jenkins helmet cam.
5) The first time a Fighter got up after he's dead.
6) The broken elevator. And the elevator that goes down.
7) The jump ambush when you have the marines.
These days I am a master of 343 Guilty Spark - I have marines left on legendary. But the ally blips still get me. But while 343 Guilty Spark is a brilliant level, Library is the worst level in Halo.
