Subject: Who designed Sacred Icon and Quarantine Zone?

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

Because I sincerely hope that whoever there are was fired. These missions are disgusting. They are more than bad missions, they are the bad apple which ruins a batch of good ones. I was doing a campaign play through and these two missions made me rage so much. Is it so much to want to give an M6C pistol to a grunt without it being completely obliterated by 50 sentinels and an enforcer. And is it so much to not copy and paste the same section of the level over and over so much that you get lost

I got to Quarantine Zone and the bull-blam!- level design led to me getting lost, at which point I raged and played Black Ops. Yes, this mission made me ditch the best shooter ever made for a COD game. That's how bad it is.

In fact, IIRC it was these missions which made me start hating Halo 2. I didn't actually mind the ones before it, but these missions made me hate this game. I know that's a bit irrational, but it shows you how had they are. Heck, I would choose to play The Library over this -blam!-

Does anyone know who designed these missions? I want their names. And addresses...

I actually really enjoyed those two missions. They're some of my favorites, granted that the atmosphere of the Flood is lost in Halo 2. Sacred Icon on Legendary can be frustrating but it's still eerie, whilst Quarantine Zone is fun and easy on all difficulty levels, brings back nostalgia.

Still working on my SLASO attempt for QZ mind you.

I liked the levels...

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

Sacred Icon may be one of my least favorite missions, but it wasn't terrible. Frustrating at best. Additionally, I though Quarantine was a lot of fun. It was a large-scale level from the Covy's perspective. Plus, who doesn't love a speech from Half-Jaw?

Well, the enemies at the end of the elevator ride are infinitely spawning. I think there might be a way to stop them it but I don't recall.

343 Guilty Spark is more confusing imo.

Sad truth.

Which part of the level?

Tu Madre

I feel your pain dude. The first time I played those two missions my friend and I almost went insane. The tunnels and confusing pathways make for a ragealicious experience. Much of Halo 2's campain is pretty botched up and was poorly made, despite having the most intricate and interesting story line. And what difficultly are you playing on? Because if it's normal then it should be fairly easy.
