I'd be fine with it so long as it is a (more or less) 1:1 upgrade like CEA was, with the exception that native Multiplayer be included this time.
The problem is, if they include native multiplayer it could steal Halo 4's multiplayer thunder. Given that Halo 4 will probably have a player progression system like Reach, the chances of H2A having native multiplayer are looking pretty slim as they'd want you to invest your time in Halo 4.
It would have to be released at least one and a half years after Halo 4 not to disrupt their Halo 4 multiplayer plans.
EDIT: This could also be a good chance to implement the features Bungie wanted to initially ship with Halo 2, like replays and (I think) Forge, which would only serve to enhance the core experience.
This would be great, but I believe that 343i are making a trilogy, so it could be quite a while until an improved version of Halo 2 could be released at a time where it wouldn't interfere in the sales/activity of their main games.
