Subject: Quick forge question

I have an invasion map and and one point what is supposed to happen is when the objective is captured, the floor disappears beneath the defense and they all fall to their death. When I tested it with a friend, the floor disappeared like it was supposed to, except the player did not fall. He stood still when the floor disappeared and was standing on air. It wasn't until he moved that he fell.

Is there some way to fix this? Or is this just going to happen no matter what?

This has been a basic principle of forge since Halo 3. When someone stands on an object completely still he is situated on that specific plane until he moves. You cant fix it but what you can do is place killballs that spawn in the top of the room. Other than that you can get creative.

Please don't hype for games...
They'll just fall short of your expectations and you'll complain for months.

It shouldn't be a problem. In gameplay, something, whether it's the player's movement itself or getting shot, will cause them to fall.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

Why not set the game so that a kill barrier spawns (when the objective is captured) where the floor used to be so that the players have to die and fall?
