Born to Lose, Built to Win.

Hey folks.
I'm returning to the lovely universe that Halo 3 has to offer, because quite frankly, after reading about the information concerning Halo IV, I am left with a distaste in my mouth. And with how the Halo: Reach ranking system isn't as competitive as I'd like, I find myself returning to and old classic.
Basically I'm just posting this to try to link up with some of you to play with.
My GT is: Tokestradamus

Hope to play with some of you soon!
Cheers.

It won't put me off though, so see you around the mexican church.....

This is a Reach account that I created the day they announced his name in a bnet weekly update. Any stats regarding ODST or Halo 3 are irrelevant. Also, Halo CE master race. Halo 1 > other halo games > other games.

Account Status: Silver :(

Too bad about 10% of the people that play this game are -blam!-s.

@DHTH777: Thanks man! Will do. I Appreciate the extended hand.

And really? I would've figured everyone who continued to thrive off of Halo 3 would be a nice group of people. Like how I play Myth II and the community is just immaculate now a days, granted that there's not as many players. I guess It was just a preconceived misconception I conjured up. :0

The Universe of H3 was much, much better in ~08-09. This Forum makes me so nostalgic.

Right man.
As soon as I repurchased this title and held it in my hands again it was like a -blam!- flashback. It just felt so good - it brought back so many found memories, friendships made, and all of that jazz. I have so much zeal for getting back into this now. I can't even fathom how I ever chose Reach over this for so long.

Just don't play TS or Doubles without a friend. Everything else is good to go.

Good insight man on those playlists.
Mind if I add some of you to my friends list? You seem to be active in the community and chill people to shoot the -blam!- with and tear up some matchmaking with.

TS and TD are easy to get a 50 by yourself. Downside is having derankers in the lower lvls.

What you people fail to realize is that for every game you get a deranker on your team, there's probably been a game with a deranker on the other team. If you're good you'll be able to surpass them.

Born to Lose, Built to Win.

By "Deranker" - is that a player who purposely stays low on rankings to make it harder for others to achieve higher ranking, or "try" to.

? Well the number was just a random amount, but it could even be higher than that. At least in Team Slayer. I went seven game streak with derankers and every game was pretty much new players. I have no respect for people who derank even if they do use the boosters to help get their new accounts 50s. In fact, in my eyes that just makes them worse and invalidates their 50.

Well obviously those playlists are easier, but the amount of derankers has increased in recent months. At least that's my opinion. I recommend a teammate just to negate any derankers or lower you chances. Also, I disagree about doubles. If you have a good teammate it's easier than searching alone. A lot of the lone 40-45 doubles players are terrible. Many of them without mics and an itch to rush at the enemy with the lead.

The amount of derankers has not increased lmao... if anything it lowered.
Also, obviously having a decent partner in TD would be great, but it's not necessary. SB Mavericks is a classic example since he's somehow able to keep his 50 even though he runs with randoms. Oh and he has over 4k exp in TD.
