Is there any time you do something retarded on this site because you're not paying attention? Like, I just accidentally made a thread in the wrong forum and got warned... in fact, all of my two warnings are me making a thread in the wrong forum. Boy, that must say a lot about my intelligence.

What have you accidentally pulled?

Every member of the Covenant shall walk the path. None will be left behind when our Great Journey begins. That is the Prophets' age-old promise, and it shall be fulfilled!

I think a couple people remembered when I... I don't want to talk about. It just has to do with the very top stickied thread.

Bobcast is paid in MILF blind dates.

Made a thread about Skyrim getting Kinect functionality when there was a giant thread about it. That was the day I found out I'm blind.

Quote from Confucius

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Mainly just accidently double posting

Not paying enough attention to the post I'm replying to...
So many stupid answers.

Not paying attention and having my friend post using my account.
How he managed to work the site is beyond me, but it resulted in a b&. Good times.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Yes, I have.

When I get very tired (we're talking haven't slept in > 24 hours), I like to help people. This involves telling people which forum certain posts belong in. That sounds harmless, right? Yeah...well, at that point I've usually ingested a large amount of caffeine and that makes me a littler jittery. This means, that when I scroll over "Community" to right-click and copy the URL, my hand can move slightly and select the wrong link by accident.

Of course, I don't realize this, and I end up linking The Gallery as The Classifieds.

After something like this happened a second time, I decided to not post in those kinds of threads ever again and let other people handle it.

Astronomy Picture of the Day!

The only thing I can think of along those lines is accidentally making a reply in the wrong thread, due to being slightly drunk and having multiple tabs open. Nothing a quick edit can't fix.

I've always double checked the forum banners before I submit a thread... Mainly in fear of publicly posting a really stupid thread meant for a really stupid private group, haha.

Often times, in the past, I would read an OP and quickly reply with something that I assumed was freaking witty. Later, only, would I find out that everyone else had already said what I posted in one way or another. That's really the worst of it though.

  • 05.05.2012 2:52 PM PDT

Who the hell do you think I am?

I'm cautious about how I post.

There have been a few times when I have been looking at threads in between games on Reach, then decided to reply quickly before a match begins, then I have read over my post after the game and it has made no sense at all.

Can't say I've ever done anything here while not paying attention. Other than a few spelling mistakes.

Members here dont get banned.

They just go missing in action.

I made a thread saying how The Classifieds don't work, except throughout the whole thread I replaced The Classifieds with The Gallery.

I don't read all of the tread, post something stupid, then relive what i've done when i read it properly.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I've posted a comment in a thread which had nothing to do with the subject because I thought I was in another thread. No idea how I managed that.

  • 05.05.2012 8:04 PM PDT

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

When I reply only to the thread title and skip the eleboration on the OP if they used it as an "attention grabing headline" and don't really mean it or point to another discussion.

Oh and not reading my post and then quickly editing the mistakes I've done when I reread them after I just submitted it.
