A little bit of sausage, a little bit of hot sauce, a whole lot of awesome. Have a question? Ask me!
Chapter

I've done research, by research I mean googled it but hey at least I'm honest, and I could never find a real answer. Here are my questions: does Bungie hire interns, if they do how often, and what do they do?

I already know about this guy but this was back in '03...but have they hired any recently? Any usefull information would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm just curious about this because I'm going to be enrolling in college soon and I'm planning to major in computer science with the dream of making games that people would love to play and I'd just like to get my foot in the door.

Edit: lol damn keyboard

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

Personally OP, I think you'd make a great Starbucks runner.

I was actually about to contact someone about this. My recent CS internship is turning into a contract programming job for the summer and next summer I was thinking about contacting google or a company in the game industry.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I can't believe Bungie let a 15 year old intern for them. lol :p

Bye.

Every now and then we have the good manners to introduce you to new team members. This is one of those rare occasions, and it's an intern!

Jon "JonnyOThan" Cable was an intern for bungie circa 2006.

Everyone knows that this is a fictional character used as a joke, right?

Yes Costco. I need a 50lb bag...I mean sack of sugar.

Not to sound mean, but I doubt Bungie wants interns because that means someone in the office is going to be less productive in order to train/guide the intern. It seems to me that Bungie only hires the best and the brightest to do what they do, and interns wouldn't fit into that business model.

Unless of course they were buttering Deej's Bagels.

That's not mean, it actually makes sense and is pretty understandable.

Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

I'm tempted to say it's a good idea, but I want to say it's not. Interns means a bunch of inexperienced people running around an experienced place, throwing of BUNGIE's game and possibly leaking content, ruining parts of it for me and the other people who care about surprises.

It might also give us something else to blame for problems. If stosh isn't being blamed, it would throw off me and I'm sure the majority of the community.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

I don't know, but on an unrelated note, could you do something about the text colour on your coup? I had to highlight it all to read it.
