Okay....Now that everything on my PC is squared away and I am tired of getting banned from servers for owning everyone (Yes, this happened a few times), I have decided to host a Halo PC Tournament. This is an "Under The Table" kind of tournament and is open to everyone and anyone who wants to join. Now, I need to get back to you on my server IP (it's been a while), but in the mean time, I need people to tell me if they are going to participate. The only thing you need to participate in this tournament is a copy of Halo PC (duh) and Xfire. I need your Xfires to make sure that you are there on the days of the tournament (June 24th and 25th) and that you can join my server with ease instead of trying to do it via the game its self. Also, I need to know ahead of time how many people are going to be doing this, so if you want to join, send me an e-mail at wizardofwater255@yahoo.com to let me know. Now for the important stuff: How is this going to play out?
Okay, here's the dealy on the tournament:
1. The first day of the tourny will be Team Slayer and other interesting varants of it, like Team Snipers and the like. The next day will be Team Skirmish type of games, such as CTF, Oddball, Assault, and the like.
2. I will only accept 16 entries and 4 late entries. Seeing I don't possess a freakishly huge server computer, I can only host a server with a max of 16 people. The 4 late entries are in case some of us can't make it at the last second.
3. The times of the Tournament are still undecided, so I have to also get back to you on that one (Just keep the days open if you think you can do it)
4. In the case that I cannot host the tourny, I will postpone it for two weeks and then pick up where we left off.
5. I will accept suggestions for game modes up until the tournament starts. This being said, I will play every game mode that comes to my attention so long as atleast half of the people in the tourny agree to it.
6. Any questions you still have, I will answer once you give me a reply to this invitation.
That's about it, ladies and gentlemen. Also, if I detect that you are using any kind of mod or hack, I will ban you from the tournament and you will not be allowed to re enter. Now, that being said, I need your responses sooner rather then later, so send me an e-mail to join up. The signups will close the night before the tournament, and if we can't find 16 people, I will discontinue the tournament. Until then, I look forward to hearing from anyone who wants to give it a try.
