I hate it when people involve money on things. Money creates good players because it's money what you're talking about.
It just throws the chill, relaxed and sweet aspect of gaming out of the window.
I guess I just want better damn maps then. And not just the same gray bull--blam!-. Besides, I believe MLG teams get money whether they win or lose, and in a perfect world *cough* before Forge *cough* they all had to agree to compete with the Halo 2 button combos and asymmetrical maps into play. And they did agree to compete like that.
because thats all they had at the time.
Now they can make the game fit their best interests. If it werent in their best interests then it wouldnt even be considered.
Thats the really nice thing about MLG. All the changes they make are ultimately made by the corporation, but they put a lot of credit on their best players opinions. The pros are consulted about everything, because in the end, its their living thats being affected.
If 343 or bungie were to take top members of the community, skill wise, and consult us on the changes they made in MM, this game would be better for everyone.
And just so you know, we dont care about the social playlists. Those can stay crazy, and filled with a whole bunch of stuff that we wouldnt want, as long as we have our playlists.
If you dont like them, stick to social. You dont see me telling you how to play your playlists.
The majority of people who watch MLG, are MLG fans.... MLG fans prefer MLG settings over default....
...are you kidding me?
Are you disregarding players who play for fun, just because you're good at a single videogame as long as you have certain settings, and only applied within certain maps, that more often than not nobody else plays?
Maybe the game would be better if 343 were to listen to the top players. Maybe it wouldn't. Maybe everything would be better without jetpacks, camo, or useless weapons like the Needler, the Needle Rifle, the Spartan Laser, vehicles or radars. Maybe it wouldn't.
I think you're prioritizing only those things that define you as a "good" player, and you're disregarding the whole picture.
