Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.
-blam!- all of you fanboys!

Theres a reason people like me still stomp people like you on those maps.
Its just stupid for 2 good teams to play each other on maps that give an inherent advantage based off a team color.
There is also a reason that everyone who is good still managed to get a 1% in arena when all the AAs were still there.
And a reason that people who are good were playing MLG since before the revised settings.
None of us like bloom, or AAs because they involve luck. Luck ruins skill.
The MLG crew seemed to love AAs, since they weren't removed until the end of 2011, and they are still there as pickups.
And the had to work with bloom, since they couldn't change it. And I wish that was the case with default maps. I wish they had to play on default maps because they couldn't change them.
It's not stupid to give advantage off-spawn to a certain team. I call that entertaining. More so than many of the MLG stuff I've seen related with Forge.
When the MLG playlist was first created sprint was the only AA that was there.
AAs work great as pickups, starting with them is stupid.
Bloom takes skill out of the equation and adds luck, which is the opposite of what competitive players want.
YES IT IS. PROS MAKE MONEY OFF THIS GAME.
Think about if you were playing for $20,000, and you made it to the last game of the championship series and the score was 49-49. You got the first shot on your opponent, and you get out shot because even though you had perfect aim bloom caused your last shot to miss by just enough to where you lost the battle.
You just lost $20,000 because of luck.
Oh and similarly say you lost the game because you got the bad spawn and the other team got rockets, and sniper off the start.
Fair is always better in a competitive setting.
First off, you didn't lose $20,000 because of luck. You lost because you suck. Because you seem to think that the whole game revolves around 1 weapon? Was there no teammates anywhere? How about grenades? Cover? Shotgun? AR? Vehicles ANYTHING.... That 49-49 battle all came down to you getting -blam!- over by a fraction of a percentage of luck on 1 weapon out of the entire line-up of offensive tools available to you?
GIVE ME A -blam!- BREAK ALREADY! WITH YOUR LAME ASS COMPETITIVE EXCUSES!
KEEP THE COMPETIVE -blam!- TO WHERE IT BELONGS! LAN TOURNAMENTS!
HALO SUCKS BECAUSE YOU TRY TO TURN ALL OF MATCHMAKING INTO YOUR "MAIN EVENT"! -blam!- that.. The INTERNET LAGS! THAT MEANS -blam!- YOUR COMPETITION!
Guess what.. You're playing over the internet, with random people. That means CASUAL!!!
You want competitive.. GOTO A -blam!- LAN TOURNAMENT!
And stop trying to tell everyone that games need to be designed from the ground up to be competitive in order to satisfy the casual crowd. Because Let me give you an example of how -blam!- stupid that saying is.
Counter Strike. Try playing that game as a casual.
It doesn't work... you get elitest -blam!-heads booting you out of matches beause you're the last one alive wandering the backside of the map learning what the -blam!- your supposed to do.
No matter what. Halo's downfall is all because competitive think they know what's best for a game. You don't. All you know is how to make -blam!- boring. And look at Halo today...it's getting boring.
Then they try to add some variety...and what happens? You all whine and -blam!- and cry about how it's no longer fair to you....
Even though some of you are still pulling 90% win's and 2.0+ KD ratios...but oh my......
Nevermind the fact that your trying to assume that everyone should be playing everu game as though $20,000 is on the line for every match even though it's not...which is evident by the invention of the quit ban.
You know what...just STFU already..nobody likes the competitive crowd. You make games stupid.
You are so -blam!- stupid.. that you turned the BIGGEST casual game ever created...into the biggest competitive game ever. Even though nothing changed. You know what game that was? HALO 1! The BIGGEST CASUAL GAME EVER CREATED! And if you don't think that Halo 1 was the most casual FPS to have graced the gaming community, then you're just an idiot.
Halo 1 more than proved the fact that it's takes a game being designed for casuals to make a truly competitive game.
Because there is only 1 truth to being competitive. THE DESIRE TO WIN!
Armor Lock doesn't change that.
BLOOM doesn't change that.
