You know when I was young I used to play a lot of racing games. Sometimes I'd spin out of control and accidentally head in the wrong direction. Most games flash a warning sign on the screen telling you you're going the wrong way and you need to make a U-Turn to continue the race.
You've got it all backwards.
CoD is easier to play than Halo. Period. It's easier to get kills. You're rewarded for kills therefore it's easier to get more kills. Does it require skill? Yes, but it's dwarfed in comparison to Halo.
If you make a mistake in Halo, you're dead for at least 5 seconds, which gives the other time a chance to gain map control and push you back to your spawns. This punishes death and encourages players to play strategically (the smart players at least).
If you make a mistake in CoD, you're dead, and you respawn 2 seconds later behind the person who killed you. There's no penalty for death other than watching your ego diminish a bit with each kill cam. And if that happens to be the norm for you, just quit free of penalty and find a new match. CoD is the epitome of convenient casual gameplay, which is why so many people play it. It's accessible and it's quick and easy.
Reach's kill times are bad yes, but overall Halo's kill times have been medium paced. This allows you to outgun opponents even if they see you first, which takes more skill than responding to stimuli quicker like in CoD. And Halo emphasizes map control and pushing as a team, whereas CoD only emphasizes positioning (camping). The latter does not influence spawns, while the former does. This is the main difference between the two.
At this point if you aren't trolling then I feel sorry for you, as you will simply never understand why you are completely incorrect.
