Subject: Create a NEW skull for Halo 2 Anniversary

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

If there is a Halo 2 Anniversary, design a skull that you want to be in it

Here are mine

Weapon swap-All covenant spawn with human weapons and humans spawn with covenant weapons

Unpopular-All allies are now against you

Thumbless-Allies spawn without weapons

Discovery-Plasma weapons can now be recharged

Backpack-You can now carry up to four weapons

Doomsday-All enemies spawn with rocket launchers

Why would they add skulls if they're already in the game?

I like these 4.
I would like the return of Bandanna, because I just love going around owning everything in CEA.
I definitely want Sputnik/Cowbell and IWHBYD to come back.
As for creating some:

Power Skull - Enemies now spawn with more powerful weapons such as Snipers.

Tactical Skull - Enemies' AIs become much more alert, allowing for more advanced combat situations.

Wrestler Skull - Enemies' melee attacks now have triple the power and send victims flying backwards.

That's all I can think of, except maybe:

Scaredie Cat Skull - All enemies' energy shields have double the power, and Jackals' hand-held shields cover their heads and both hands.

That last one wouldn't apply to Tartarus, because then Johnson would run out of ammo :P (JK, I'm not a noob, OBVIOUSLY Tartarus' shield would be tripled.)

Knight - Swords have 3 times as much lunge distance and do 3 times as much damage.

Necromance - Enemies respawn after a full minute.

Bandit - An enemy that melee attacks you will be gifted your weapon.

Deprived - Shields and health are cut in half.

I know you are but wouldn't that go completely against what around 90% of you claim to want out of a remake? I'm pretty sure you're all completely against any sort of change and I don't see how adding more skulls would not be exactly that.

Modify-all weapons are fully automatic

Drivers license-civilian vehicles are now drivable

Re-inforcements-for every enemy killed two new random enemies spawn

Ambidextrous-every weapon is dual wieldable

Zombie-every elite and marine who dies comes back as a flood form

Because all I see in this forum when it comes to a remake of this game is "DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING OR WE'LL CUT YOUR THROAT, 343i!!!" then we get people joyfully giving ideas for new skulls as if this would be something you guys would be okay with.

I will lay all the money I have down to say that if new skulls were to be added to a remake of Halo 2 that you guys would be up in arms about it.

Unpopular Skull Activated.

Cutscene on Datahive:
Allies push chief's drop pod off the pelican and detenate it's self destruct sequence. Chief's dead body flies out of the pod into the unsuspecting covenant. The grunts shoot the dead body a little and yell "yay we killed the demon". It then pans back to the pelican, "That's what happens when you take my rocket launcher" - butthurt marine.

Yes, but the good thing about new skulls is that the change they offer is optional. I dont mind having optional stuff added to the game, as long as they dont detract or change

H2V's modding tools are incomplete, there's lack of a dedicated modding community, and it lacks the versatility of even CE's basic modding tools. You can't even modify bipeds without getting an infinitely looping sequence or 'game stopped working'. AI modding is severely limited.

OT: My skull ideas.

1. Harbinger
Effect: all Elites at the Tartarus battle are Councilors (excluding the 2 berserking Zealots).
Skull scenery: 7 waves of Elites need to be fought off like in IWHBYD except the Elites are Councilors and are on a great journey

2. Squeaky Hammer (from Smash Brawl)
Effect: Tartarus' hammer doesn't do any damage (except when he melees scenery objects).
Skull scenery: 2 teabagging Brute Captains wielding hammers

3. Footstool (from Smash Brawl)
Effect: Super jump off of any AI
Skull scenery: Grunts jumping on top of each other.

4. Mechanic
Effect: all Covie ground vehicles (Spectre, Ghost, and Wraith) receive better hover height, supplementing their traction and improving maneuverability.
Skull scenery: miniature Covie vehicle figurines in a circle, including the Shadow and Scarab

5. Master of Scarabs
Effect: The Wraith at the beginning of Great Journey is replaced with the Scarab, which you can pilot (turret guns are automated)

OT: My skull ideas.

Effect: first person passenger seats

7. Restoration V2
Effect: sword wielding Elites can now leap

8. Restoration V3
Effect: Hunters pursue you to the ends of the earth

9. Restoration V4
Effect: Needler detonation timer is reduced, AI now acknowledge their doom when stuck by many pink needlers, trying to get them off

10. Master
Effect: The Wraith at the beginning of Great Journey is replaced with the Scarab, which you can pilot (turret guns are automated)


Those ones sound epic

Noob skull: Enemies hide around corners at every oppurtunity

Mystery hat: Weapons fire profectiles from a random different weapon

More skulls!

6. Godsend
Allows checkpoint creation at most points, restores following checkpoint behavior:

-checkpoints can be delayed indefinitely
-checkpoints can be delayed by active plasma grenades
-killing enemy Hunters yields checkpoints

7. Field
Draw distance increase, AI rarely get deleted from the map

8. Hologram
On Arbiter missions, replaces Arbiter's camo with a biped spawner that lets you spawn a copy of yourself to distract AI. 2 uses, long recharge time

9. Reversal
Zealots take back their energy shielding, ability to fire guns, and from Ultra Elites. They regain leap and fast firing rate. Ultra Elites get a shield nerf and a target emblem appears on their backs.

10. Allegiance
Betraying marines spawns more marines in future encounters. But they never consider you a friend again. Hide!

1)Paranormal
- Killing an enemy respawns the enemy in another section of the mission map.

2)Chameleon
- Enemy textures are changed to blend into the environment

3)Iron Flesh
- The player is exceedingly slow and cannot melee, but has extremely high health.

Those are much better ideas than mine! First one would fit in with the constantly spawning Jackal snipers. Imagine an army of them.
