And given that IE is still waaaaaaaaaaay more used than Firefox on this site, the choice is obvious.

Just cuz more people use it don't make it right.

I just like firefox....seems fast enough to me as well..

hmmm......be interesting to see who uses what here... I shall make a poll in the flood and return with A LINK!

As promised! the great browser poll of the flood!

I use IE and FF, generally depending on what I need and what I am doing. For basic stuff I just go by the rule that if it works in FF it will work in IE, which isn't always the case...but I do it anyway.

I can't use IE. It doesn't work in Linux.

With IE, the page loads faster, and the mouse scroll wheel scrolls much faster.

Its odd, I just started using Firefox a few days ago, and I never have had a speed issue on Bungie.net. The only problem for me is that StaticMainBackground.gif does not load halfway down the screen, but hey, I can easily live with that.

Try using netscape 7.2. That is what I use and I have no problems with this site. I do occasionally run into problems with some sites, but then I just use IE. There is a netscape 8 but I have not tried it. It does not have the email client with it like netscape 7.2.

No, that's just firefox being more careful and strict with the rendering and the mouse scroll wheel speed is user-set, as is the smoothness. Really, once firefox is customised, very few broswers can beat it.

Check out this firefox plugin if you've been sufferin some bungie.net slowness in firefox. Basically it justs renders any page you want with the IE engine in a firefox tab or window. Nice little hack and it just might save you some time. In the IE tab prefs you can set it up to load certain websites in IE mode only--nifty nifty.

If this has been posted before, I'm sorry! Been busy the last few months.

Psh, that was my find tyvm.
No worries though, the combination works great for B.net
