I never thought I'd see the day that Achronos called b.net a social networking site.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Social networking!? *le gasp*

Theme Builder 4.1 is out for Bungie.net!

Theme Builders

Don't know why everyone's freaking out about the term "social network."

In definition it would be a network where people socialize, and that's what people do on Bungie.net.

Why not stop by my File Share while you're here?

~Long Live Halo 2
Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

It's a sign of the apocalypse.

this site's primary purpose is as a social network (yeah, I said it) for our fans.
Will the big site update include the option to set our relationship status?

I'd call it social bickering.

When will we finally see it move over to Bungie.xxx?

Bungie.com was originally our corporate site. When Myth came around, it had a matchmaking/chat service that we called "bungie.net". The web presence for that service (that hosted leaderboards and clans, but no forums) was www.bungie.net. It lived next to www.bungie.com, which was your standard company site.

After Halo was released, we decided to put everything in one place, and redirected bungie.com to www.bungie.net. That was probably more expediency than anything - bungie.net has dynamic content systems, the old bungie.com was completely static. And, if you think about it, .net is more appropriate - this site's primary purpose is as a social network (yeah, I said it) for our fans.

Thats very interesting and cool

I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Correct me if I'm wrong but they are NOT bungie.org.
They are also NOT bungie.me.

OT: It is a network?

This statement needs to be archived before it is wiped from the server once Achronos realizes what he has disclosed.

Huh, just like Blizzard's Battle.net? Kinda cool to see that in the end both Bnets are successful.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

Bungie.net rolls off the tongue easier.

And from this day on, the argument "Bungie isn't a social networking site" just became invalid.

I won the Star. With this on Week 18.

Like.

That's the one thing I love about coming here. You learn something old everyday...and then wonder why it is that you are just now learning this.
