Subject: Bungie.net: Events Feature

Do you think Bungie.net should have an events feature? Much like Facebook's (yeah, I said it!) events feature. I'm thinking this feature would be more directed at private groups and would be beneficial for them in regards of organising game nights, competitions and other events that tickle your fancy. But this feature could also be used publicly for things like PAX and meet ups.
It would work much like Facebook in the way that admins can invite people (within the group only) and use it as means of organising the said event.

What do you think?

Theme Builder 4.1 is out for Bungie.net!

Theme Builders

No. This feature is unneeded because usually people interested in said events check the groups that are holding them often. Nevermind the fact that groups are so inactive now that it would be utterly pointless.

I think it would be a good idea for Bungie to implement an events feature that would let the community schedule online matches / get togethers for Destiny.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

That's a good idea.

You must not be in the right groups then.

It gives a clearer outlet for people of the group to orgainse an event verses a forum post that is normally used for orgainsing an event. Not all groups are inactive and that's besides the point, I'm more talking about the future when the new IP is launched.

I agree Cryptic.

Must of missed that thread when it was posted 5 months ago. Basically that's what I'm talking about, but more like the Facebook event system.
