I never read the Halo books (excluding the Fall of Reach) or any of the comics. Can anyone tell me if red vs blue is canon or non-canon? Just curious.

*hits head on desk*

It's non-canon, obviously.

Obviously, it was made by a completely different company. I just wanted to know if the story makes sense with the Halo timeline or if it messed up the timeline in anyway.

The Red vs Blue timeline is completely different to the Halo timeline.

The Red team, Blue team, Project Freelancer ... And anything else in RvB have nothing to do with the Halo timeline.

I guess but isnt Project freelancer before the Covenant War, and there were more projects than Spartan 2 (Hayabusa for example).

The only time RvB is mentioned in any of the Halo games is in the Halo: Reach Tribute Room. Keyword: tribute.
That alone should prove that it's non-canon. Also, the Hayabusa armour is sort of an Easter Egg/Tribute in itself to Dead or Alive's Hayabusa.

Welcome to the internet. Joy dies here.

Ryuuuuu!!!!

Edit: BTW Ryu isn't a DoA-originating character - he's from Ninja Gaiden.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

OT: This is correct.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

Red vs blue sucks

I just wanted to know if it disrupts the Halo timeline.

It's more of a tribute to Team Ninja developer of both Ninja Gaiden and DoA.
